In the past, the memories of my birthday have not been the greatest. As most December Birthday babies- we get the short end of the stick . Its always cold and most times it rains, leaving little room to do anything besides staying bundled up & indoors. In addition to that..with finals most of my friends are too stressed out with upcoming tests or assignments to study for. Then there is Christmas. Everyone is busy entertaining relatives from out of town or going out of town- so I understand. This year I was extremely excited to let loose and celebrate my birthday as well as my official graduation from CSUS. However, not many of my friends were available to celebrate with me- as usual..
until…. What was supposed to be an intimate birthday dinner with Marvin turned out to be a surprise dinner with some of my best friends. He blind folded me and made me put head phones on so i could not hear or see where we were going. When I took my blind fold off I nearly cried.Everything was so perfect. I wish I could have taken a picture to capture that moment. I opened my eyes to festive christmas lights displayed in the tall windows of Zocalo. After it registered where i was, my eyes focused back to the foreground-my friends! The only thing that held me back from crying was knowing I had a long night ahead of me-ruining my make up at the beginning of the night would not be okay. Haha.
Its been an honor to grow up with these three beautiful ladies. Could not be more grateful to know another year has passed and they’re still here! Love you Jey, Karen, & Bianca <3
Uhhhh…. my “Welcome…ITS YOUR BIRTHDAY!” shot. Not much of a shot considering it was about the same size as my water cup, haha.
My crazy ladies, Mimi and Jency. Never a dull moment. Now that I think about it…a few of my most embarrassing and irresponsible moments are shared with them O_O hahahaha..
